Transplantation is a life-saving treatment for end-stage organ failure, but it relies on lifelong immunosuppression. Our research primarily focuses on achieving transplant tolerance, a state where organs can thrive without the need for ongoing medication. Additionally, we investigate how organ cryopreservation can improve surgical outcomes and overcome existing barriers to access. Together, these basic and clinical research efforts aim to make transplantation both safer and more sustainable for patients.
